Citizen theater workshops encourage speaking up and asserting oneself, contributing to the self-confidence of participants. Playing in their native language and not having to memorize texts allows everyone to feel comfortable and valued. The shows, presented to large audiences in Africa and Belgium, offer public recognition and a feeling of personal accomplishment.
