Theater and Reconciliation operates as an artistic space that promotes human rights.

With prisoners, with asylum seekers, with displaced people, with women, we create a secure space that promotes human and cultural rights and puts them into practice.

Strengthening cultural rights

With T&R the show becomes inclusive and cultural rights are applied. Cultural Rights are not a facade value. The participants/actors
are not decorative. Our shows are seen by thousands of spectators for free.

Transitional justice

Theater is a tool for transitional justice. It brings the different parties of a conflict into contact. It acts as a symbolic compensation.

Sexual violence

We restore the confidence of women and girls victims of sexual violence in Belgium, Burundi and the DR Congo.

PEACE

By representing and bringing together the different parties to the conflicts, the theater works to restore peace in the Great Lakes region of Burundi, Rwanda and DR Congo.
