About the event

This training aims to enable participants to master the tools of the Theatre & Reconciliation method to effectively intervene with vulnerable audiences or those in conflict situations, using an original theatrical tool. This masterclass will be led by Frédérique Lecomte, director, author, and initiator of the Theatre & Reconciliation method. Through theater, she connects populations in Africa around themes such as justice, trauma, land-related conflicts or ethnic origin. This method is also used in Belgium with prisoners, psychiatric patients, diasporas, undocumented immigrants, and asylum seekers, to address themes such as social cohesion, the fight against discrimination, and migration. In 2018, she received the Woman of Peace Award in Belgium. Frédérique Lecomte has also given numerous training courses, masterclasses, and conferences at universities across Europe and around the world.
