TELL ME WIE IK BEN

Aïcha Cissé and Aminata Demba offer us a refreshing show in which they play with stereotypes linked to migration. Implicitly, they talk to us about racism and sexism. The two actresses from Antwerp, whose parents come from Mali and Senegal respectively, mix facts and fiction to tell the story of their parents and, in the process, their own story. Tell me how I like it is a self-portrait of those we call “the second generation”. Through a series of funny and dynamic sketches, they show us what it is to grow up at the intersection of different cultures and assert their plural identity.
