THEATRE AND RECONCILIATION

IS LOOKING FOR A CULTURAL MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEE

 

In close collaboration with the director of the ASBL Théâtre & Reconciliation, we are looking for a 4/5-time employee for a fixed-term replacement contract of 6 months, renewable.

The ASBL has two permanent employees: the director and you.

Occasional employees are hired for each project: actors, set designers, animators, etc.

 

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

 

-  Establish and maintain sustainable relations collaborations with amateur and professional associations and organizations in the field of culture and social cohesion

- Assist and support the director in her activities

-  Support amateur and professional participants

- To keep the association's social networks and website updated with news

- Ensure contact with different co-producers

- Find new venues for performances/distribution

- Organize the creation in the different venues

- Collaborate in the drafting of activity and financial files and reports (management of expenses, reporting) in relation with the person responsible for finances

- Write activity reports for institutional financial partners

- Drafting and monitoring employment contracts in collaboration with the social secretariat

- Draft project proposals and activity reports for both international and national institutional partners

- Prepare and attend meetings of the Board of Directors

 

PROFILE

 

- Happily concerned with the mission of "saving the world"

- Master's degree in cultural management or similar experience

- Good organizational skills and resistance to stress

- Good interpersonal communication skills 

- Ability to monitor project budgets 

- Ability to immerse oneself quickly in administration and organization

- Motivated, solid, reliable, independent, proactive, conscientious.

- Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite and the usual office software

- Excellent writing skills  

- Language: French and English fluent, Dutch is a plus

- Driving license is a plus

- We are looking for a person who can start as soon as possible, ideally on 1 December 2021

Fixed-term contract for 6 months, renewable, 4/5 time

Remuneration based on the joint commission 329.02 level 4.1 or 4.2 depending on the level of study.

Theatre & Reconciliation is a theatre company directed by Frédérique Lecomte which, since 1994, has been creating performances with actors from vulnerable communities: populations in conflict zones, marginalized individuals, diasporas, prisoners, victims of torture, drug addicts, patients in therapeutic settings, asylum seekers. T&R uses theatre to integrate communities, to transform attitudes, to heal trauma, to give voice to those who are deprived of it and to reach the most remote populations.

The professional performances of T&R take place both on the stage within cultural institutions and in off-site venues.
